How it works
A roster ready in three steps
Define your team, write your rules, generate the roster. Below you'll find what happens at each step and answers to common questions.
1. Define your team
Enter your staff and their seniority, then set your shift areas and each area's daily headcount.
2. Write your rules
Weekly limits, weekend caps, time off, per-person exceptions. Pick a rule type and mark who it applies to.
3. Generate the roster
The roster is ready in one click, complete with a calendar, a per-person breakdown, and a rule audit report.
Frequently asked questions
What rules is the roster generated from?
Weekly limits, weekend caps, per-area headcount, one shift per person per day, and fair distribution across your team. Every rule you write is applied to the roster to the letter.
What happens if my rules conflict?
The roster isn't rejected. Conflicting rules are resolved with the fewest possible violations, and the report shows exactly which rule gave way and by how much — the decision is yours.
What team sizes does it work for?
It scales with the number of people, days, and areas — the same rule engine works for small teams and large ones alike.
Can I change the roster afterwards?
Yes. You can update the rules and regenerate, or edit the existing roster by hand and save the change.
