Balance and fairness
The gap in shift counts between people at the same seniority level is capped. People on leave or with a personal limit are exempt from the lower bound, so no one is left short.
Rule audit report
The generated roster is independently re-checked against every rule. Each rule shows pass/fail and the number of violations.
Rules that can flex
If rules conflict, the roster isn't rejected — it's generated with the fewest possible violations, and the report shows exactly which rule gave way and by how much.
