Frequently asked questions
The questions we hear most. If yours is not here, write to us from the contact page.
- Why is my plan reported as unsolvable?
- A plan is unsolvable when the rules cannot all hold at the same time. The most common cause is a conflict between area quotas and the per-person upper limits. The rule check on the Result tab lists exactly which rule failed — start there.
- What do the rule types mean?
- Rules are defined in four scopes: whole plan, seniority level, person and area. Each rule explains itself on the rule screen as soon as you pick its type.
- How does time off affect fairness?
- People who are unavailable or have a personal limit are exempt from the LOWER bound of fairness; otherwise one person's time off would drag the whole team's count down. The upper bound applies to everyone.
- How long does generating a schedule take?
- Most plans finish in seconds. Time grows with the number of days, people and areas, and with how tight the rules are. If your balance is low, the time budget for a run shrinks automatically.
- How are credits charged?
- Each run is charged from a fixed base, the time it took and the size of the model. A run that completes without finding a solution is still charged; a failure on our side is not.
- How do I cancel my subscription?
- You can cancel from the subscription page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for.
